Ernie Beasley, President
Ernie is the founder and President of Caliber Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. He started his career in the plumbing industry when he was accepted into a plumbing apprenticeship in 1994, graduating in 1999. He went on to become a lead field foreman, achieving the position of general foreman plumber within a few years. His accomplishments are vast: with over 25 years of experience in the industry he has estimated, designed, and project managed plumbing systems for schools, hospitals, apartments, and commercial improvement projects. Ernie’s extensive career and knowledge of the industry favors his ambition to provide superior products at a great value. Ernie embodies Caliber’s core values: Culture, Accountability, Leading with Industry Standards, Integrity, Building Long Term Relationships, Efficiency, and Reputation. Ernie is dedicated to guaranteeing lasting relationships with his clients and business partners. Outside of work Ernie enjoys spending time camping and traveling with his wife Gaby and their two sons, Canyon and Logan.
With an admirable 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Daniel is the Vice President of Caliber Plumbing and Mechanical, Inc. Within Caliber he is the lead HVAC Project Manager and Estimator. Daniel started working in the HVAC trade after graduating from Portland State University in 2005. He quickly moved up the ranks in the HVAC field and started estimating and managing projects in 2013. Daniel started with Caliber shortly after its incorporation and has contributed significantly to making Caliber the trusted plumbing and mechanical contractor it is today. Along with spending time with his wife and two boys, Daniel enjoys fishing and golfing. He is also committed to giving back to his community by chairing a non-profit organization that helps facilitate children’s 4-H and FFA programs within Columbia County.
Sr. Plumbing Estimator & Project Manager
Matt is Caliber’s Senior Project Manager and Estimator for the Plumbing Division. He started in the industry as a laborer in 1997, then completed his plumbing apprenticeship program. Matt became a Journeyman at the age of 22, and shortly after was running high-profile projects as a Foreman plumber. Matt started with Caliber in 2016 and has played a pivotal role in helping expand the business. He has been influential in creating a positive work environment where employees take pride in their craft. Matt and his wife Lindsay have two beautiful children. Along with his family, Matt’s passions are golfing, camping, and coaching his daughter’s youth softball team.
Mechanical HVAC Estimator & Project Manager
Nathan is the Field Foreman for the HVAC Division. He started in the HVAC trade in 2008, working summers while he finished his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. After graduating from OSU, he worked full time in the HVAC trade until he was accepted into graduate school in 2015. After graduate school, Nathan returned to the trade; it is a more lucrative career than his graduate degree provided. Nathan is an exceptionally skilled foreman and provides effective, quality leadership to every project he works on. Nathan enjoys hiking, sports, and spending time with his wife Natalie and their two dogs.

Plumbing Project Manager
After graduating from Portland State University, Dino gained an impressive 20+ years of management experience, eventually leading to the start of his career at Caliber in 2018 as Safety Director and Assistant Project Manager. He advanced quickly to the role of Project Manager. Dino is responsible for project coordination and providing communication within the teams, ensuring jobs remain on schedule and within budget. Dino and his wife love spending time with their three wonderful boys. His hobbies include playing indoor soccer, riding dirt bikes, and golfing.
Michael is the field superintendent for the plumbing division and has been with the company since 2016. Michael started in the plumbing trade as a laborer in 2003, before entering the apprenticeship program. He graduated top of his class in 2008, earning the Apprentice of the Year award. Michael enjoys spending time with his family and has a deep passion for teaching. He is a first-year instructor at Clackamas Community College’s apprenticeship program.
Safety Director & Plumbing Project Engineer
Luke is a Safety Director and Project Engineer for both the plumbing and mechanical divisions. He has been with the company since 2018, and provides important technology and management skills. Luke is responsible for ensuring safe working environments for technicians and clients. He studied at San Jose State University and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Project Engineer & Purchaser
Joshua is Caliber’s Warehouse Manager, and is transitioning to Project Engineer and Purchaser for the company. Before moving to Portland, Joshua was in the United States Marine Corps, stationed primarily in Washington D.C. After spending two years working and learning the industry at Mesher Supply, Joshua moved to Caliber in May 2019. Joshua’s hobbies include coaching youth sports, disc golf, and hiking with his dog.
